USPAP

This one-day update course, focuses on recent changes to USPAP requirements with particular emphasis on “Scope of Work” and other recent revisions. The course will clarify several commonly misunderstood aspects of USPAP and will offer real-world practical instruction on the appraiser’s role and obligations.

AVM Fundamentals

This course will include a brief history of AVMs. Appraisers will learn about the role appraisers and AVMs play within the collateral risk arena. The types of models will be discussed and how they work so appraisers can comply with AO-18.

Basic statistics will be taught to enhance the understanding of how algorithms are constructed. What is a confidence score? Are appraisals better than AVMs? How universally accepted are AVMs? How can appraisers ensure their future?
